Textbook publisher Westermann has included a CPR article by Dr. Johannes Bohnen in its "Wirtschaft & Du" series.
In "The State, That's All of Us," Bohnen argues that companies should develop an active political stance and make concrete contributions to society. A stronger sociopolitical anchoring is worthwhile because the rule of law, security, a functioning community, and well-educated people are the foundation on which companies do business. In the spirit of corporate political responsibility, they are therefore called upon to get involved to strengthen our democracy - in the interests of the company and society.
