Tobias Wolny specializes in public and international affairs at the corporate level. He has held various roles in the energy and transport sectors, including serving as Press Spokesperson and Policy Director for Renewable Energies at BP. Between 2021 and 2025, he was responsible for BP’s corporate strategy towards policymakers and industry associations in Germany and the DACH region as Head of External Affairs.
Prior to that, he worked as a Corporate Finance Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Germany (2001–2003) and in the Czech Republic (1996–2000). From 1993 to 1995, Tobias served as a foreign policy advisor in the Office of the President of the Czech Republic, Václav Havel.
Tobias studied International Relations and Russian Studies at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Bologna and Washington, DC, as well as at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
