Marie Giebler gained work experience in the field of political education, with independent organizations and state institutions. During internships abroad and international volunteer work, she acquired intercultural skills and experience at a binational chamber of commerce in Latin America. She also gained her first journalistic experience in Europe-wide projects.

Giebler completed a bachelor's degree in International Relations at the University of Erfurt and spent a semester abroad in Rome. She is currently studying for a master's degree at the University of Valencia. Besides German, she speaks English, Spanish, Italian and French.
